It’s not just about what notes you play, but also about how you play them. Pay close attention to the rhythm of your solos; think of your phrases as sentences that tell a story, with pauses and accents. To make things more interesting and challenging, we'll limit ourselves to using just a few strings at a time, which helps to unlock creative phrasing and forces you to be more melodic with your ideas.
